Hi! I’m Becky and I can’t wait to get this year started and meet your little ones! This is my fourth year at LLCA and I absolutely love it! I have always had a passion for kids, they say the funniest things and always make me laugh! About seven years ago I started volunteering and then substitute teaching as an assistant for pre-k. I am currently enrolled at North Idaho Community College to obtain my CDA – Child Development Associate Certificate with a desire to further my education.
My husband Greg and I have been married for 17 years and have three boys – Micah (11) Simon (10) and Ezra (8). They are my world! I love adventure and with all boys I never know what each day will bring. I love summer time… camping, lake days, bike riding and many hours spent at the skateboard park watching my boys. I absolutely love working with children and am excited to watch them have fun and learn new and exciting things!
Miss Heidi - Assistant Teacher
Hi! My name is Heidi Wolf. I have my Masters Degree in Child Development and have taught preschool for five years. I am a mother of three and a Grandmother of two. I love children and enjoy playing with and educating them. I look forward to a fun and educational year!
Miss Jennifer - Assistant Teacher
Hello! My name is Miss Jennifer. I have been very blessed to have been a stay at home mom for the past 15 years to my three children (ages 15, 12, and 6). Prior to that I spent many years working with children in a variety of different preschool and nanny positions as well as volunteering in my children's school classes. I am very excited to join the Children's Academy team this year. My love has always been working with young children and I am looking forward to getting back to that in a preschool setting again and helping to create a safe and loving environment where they can learn and grow as they become prepared with the skills they will need to head off to Kindergarten.
I have lived in Liberty Lake since 2003 (but born and raised in California) and absolutely love this wonderful community. My children keep me busy with all of their activities. We enjoy the summers here so much and spend a lot of our time at the lake, hiking, walking, camping or just playing at the park.
I can't wait for the year to start and to meet you and your children!
Miss Kelsey - Assistant Teacher
Hi, my name is Kelsey. I am really excited to join the team at Liberty Lake Children's Academy this fall as an assistant teacher. I had the pleasure of subbing during this last school year and was able to get to know all the staff and kids, and it just feels like home. I am passionate about early childhood education. I enjoy helping kids learn new things and watching them grow in their confidence and newfound knowledge.
I was raised in Bothell, Washington (on the west side of the state, located between Seattle and Everett) with my older sister and younger brother. My family means the world to me, we are very close. When my sister moved to Liberty Lake in 2009, I had a feeling I wouldn't be far behind. I moved to Liberty Lake in 2012 with my (now) husband, Nate. We got married in 2015 and now live in Millwood with our cat, Fonz. We love spending time together with our friends and family, going camping and fishing, watching movies, and playing games. I enjoy getting creative by taking pictures and playing with nail art.
Miss Tammy - Assistant Teacher
Hi, my name is Miss Tammy. I was born in raised in Idaho, and graduated from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston with a BS in elementary education. After graduating, I married the love of my life, Ben. In Lewiston, I was lucky enough to stay at home with my twins (a boy and a girl!) When they turned 3 and started pre-school, I got a job at the daycare run by the school. When my kids started elementary, I decided to put my degree to use and substitute teach. After 3 years of that, I found my dream job for the school district in a special-needs pre-school. Six years ago, my husband got transferred to Spokane for his job, so we made the move up here to beautiful Eastern Washington. With my kids going into middle school that year, and me getting my bearings in the big city, I decided to work at home as a child-care provider. I was asked to help work with a child in Pre-K for the afternoon class at Liberty Lake Childrens Academy, and fell in love with the school, kids, and co-workers. I have twin 20 year old children - a daughter Ashley and a son Robert, who will be a Junior at Gonzaga studying Electrical Engineering. I look forward to meeting your children, and can't wait to learn about them!
